Why keep a public journal
On making a corner of the internet that can change its mind.

Sample piece. This is fictional starter content, not a record of a real event. Edit or delete it from the dashboard.
This is a sample essay, written to show how the journal reads. It is not a record of a real flight, service, shift, or finished project.
A personal site goes stale when it tries to be a brochure. I would rather it be a workshop wall: projects in the middle of being built, meals worth repeating, aviation notes that are allowed to say 'I don't know yet'.
the ongoing is that wall. The name leaves the record unfinished on purpose.
What belongs here
Journal entries, projects, the kitchen, the airfield, and a bucket list that does not pretend completed boxes are the same thing as a life. A Now page for the short version. An about page that will eventually sound like a person, not a template.
Publishing should be easy enough that the honest version gets written. That is the whole product requirement.
